On a recent trip to Washington state, we learned that the “gas shortage” that was predicted in February that year was not that long ago, but we’d be lucky to get by this year. We also learned that in some areas it is still okay to drive, particularly if you have good gas prices.

Yeah, it’s still not entirely clear as to what was causing the gas shortage. The governor, who was involved in the situation, tells us that a lot of people had been complaining that they couldn’t get gas, so they were desperate to get their gas fix as soon as possible, and then they had to get the money back from the oil companies.

It’s not really a shortage of gas, but rather a shortage of money.

With that said, the governor did say that the gas companies have been receiving a lot of complaints from their customers, and they were hoping that consumers would be understanding and refrain from buying more gas. The problem, however, is that the people who really need gas are the ones that have to deal with the gas shortage.
