In fact, the average age of the senior community market is 65. For many, this is a significant number and it means the longer they live on this planet, the less healthy they have to be. The market for senior living has been growing considerably over the years and that’s not changing anytime soon.

This is especially true for senior housing where the average age is increasing. One of the reasons that people in senior living areas are getting younger is because there is more competition. For example, the age of the seniors in the Senior Living Communities in New York City are increasing every year.

New housing developments have come with the “Senior Living” label. The reason for this is that there are many seniors who are older than the minimum years to qualify for senior housing. A lot of those seniors are in the senior housing that they own and have a nice house they want to live in. They do not have the money to get on a senior housing facility but want to live in a high profile location and have a retirement apartment.
